Gold is cheaper in Pakistan despite rising prices in the global market

 Karachi:  Despite the rise in the international bullion market, gold prices in Pakistan have declined.



In the international bullion market, the price of 24 carat gold per ounce rose by ڈالر 1 to 18 1,842, but gold prices fell by Rs 200 and Rs 172 per tola and per 10 grams, respectively, in the local barter markets on Thursday.


As a result of reduction in prices, gold price per tola in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta bargain markets fell to Rs 111,800 and gold price per ten grams fell to Rs 95,850 ۔ On the contrary, the price of silver per tola remained unchanged at Rs 1,390 and the price of silver per ten grams remained stable at Rs 1,191.70
