ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved to increase the price of electricity in terms of adjustment of monthly fuel charges.
NEPRA has issued a notification approving an increase of Rs 1.53 per unit in terms of monthly fuel charges adjustment for December 2020.

The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) had requested an increase in the price of electricity by Rs1.80 per unit, on which the NEPRA Authority held a public hearing on January 27, 2021 at the FCA, after which an increase of Rs1.53. Decided.
The increase will only apply to February bills and this notification will apply to all Discoz customers, but not to Lifeline and K Electric customers
